Who is on the Lord’s side?
We live in a world that requires you to choose sides.
There is no in between, there is no neutral when it comes to serving God or serving Satan, We must choose one or the other.
Some have concluded that they have made a choice by choosing a form of religion, they believe in the doctrine of the Catholics, the Baptist, the Buddhist, the Muslims, the Bahai, the Hebrew Israelites, the Apostolic, the Church of God & Christ, and many others.
But choosing a religion is not the same as choosing God for it is written,” 8 This people draw nigh unto me with their mouth, and honor me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.” Matthew 15:8-9
Besides that many of the religion including the ones that claim they are followers of Christ are afraid to teach the truth, many of them have become unfruitful to God and have conformed to the world because of greed and other reasons.
They have been partakers in performing ungodly weddings, touching ungodly things, and teaching ungodly truths.
They have chosen Satan rather than God for it is written,” 15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. 16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. 17 Because thou say, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and know not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: 18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou may be rich; and white raiment, that thou may be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that thou may see. 19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. 20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. 21 To him that overcomes will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. 22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit said unto the churches.
We have to make up our minds if it is wrong for a man to marry a man.
We have to make up our minds if it is okay to help people develop a substance abuse problem by selling drugs and alcohol.
We have to make up our minds if it is okay to oppress some people and prosper others.
We have to make up our minds if a little wrong is ever alright.
The Word of God says that there is nothing new under the Sun and the same is true about the things we face today for this same problem existed in the days of Moses for it is written,” 25 And when Moses saw that the people were naked; (for Aaron had made them naked unto their shame among their enemies:) 26 Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, Who is on the LORD’S side? let him come unto me. And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together unto him. 27 And he said unto them, Thus said the LORD God of Israel, Put every man his sword by his side, and go in and out from gate to gate throughout the camp, and slay every man his brother, and every man his companion, and every man his neighbor. 28 And the children of Levi did according to the word of Moses: and there fell of the people that day about three thousand men. 29 For Moses had said, Consecrate yourselves to day to the LORD, even every man upon his son, and upon his brother; that he may bestow upon you a blessing this day.” Exodus 32:25-29
God promises that no one that thinks they are going to half way serve God will gain anything for their efforts for it is written,” 21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls. 22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.” James 1:21-22
Our society has become accepted of everything and anything we have conformed to the Wisdom of this world, a wisdom that says it make sense to allow the same sex to marry one another for insurance and tax purposes, a wisdom that says more gambling will fix our financial problems, a wisdom that says remove the name of Jesus and the Word of God out of the everything so that we respect and do not offend others that do not believe.
We have to choose between God’s Wisdom and the world’s wisdom for it is written,” 5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that gives to all men liberally, and upbraided not; and it shall be given him. 6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavers is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. 7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. 8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
You cannot have them both, either God is right or the world is right.
Whose side are you on?
If you belong to Christ then act like it and if you don’t truly want to serve him all the way then stop playing with him because you will not fool God for it is written,” 33 Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit. 34 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. 35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart brings forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things. 36 But I say unto you, that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. 37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.” Matthew 12:33-37
You will have to choose!
The good of God will demand it of you or the evil of the world will demand you to choose for it is written,” be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, said the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.” 2nd Corinthians 6:15-17
A legitimate follower of Jesus Christ does not compromise the word of God in anyway for it is written,” 13 No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.” Luke 16:13
The very power between right and wrong demands that you make a choice!
Who is on the Lord’s side?
That is the question and I pray that you choose correctly for it is written,” 26 Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse; 27 A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you this day: 28 And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the LORD your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known.” Deuteronomy 11:26-28
