Stand! We must learn to Stand.
In today’s world most are quick to give up and to give into the ways of this world. We are living in the times where people are willing to accept anything and not many are willing to stand on the principals of the Word of God.
The world we live in has given into the ways of corruption, indecency, and hatred.
There is an old saying, “ if you don’t stand for something, you will fall for anything.”
And it is written, “be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” Romans 12:2
We are not to adapt to this world but we all called to stand for what is right!
We are to represent our Lord Jesus in this earth and not to fear the judgment of this world for it is written, “ Who art thou that judges another man’s servant, to his own master he stands or fails. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.”
Romans 14:4
Our God will help us stand if we are willing, we must cast out the fear of not fitting in for it is written, “And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will show to you today: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen today, ye shall see them again no more forever. The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.” Exodus 14:13-14
Our Father is more powerful than anything we have to face on earth and we will see His power if we have faith enough to stand for it is written, “ Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.” Ephesians 6:11
We can stand against corruption and walk in righteousness.
We can stand against sexual immorality and walk in purity.
We can stand against hatred and walk in love.
The Word of God is the key to standing, in the Holy Bible we can find our way for it is written, “ More over brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received and wherein you stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you; unless ye have believed in vain.” I Corinthians 15:1-2
Stop pretending, stop believing in vain and start standing, for faith without action is worthless!
If you say that you are a servant of Jesus then act like it!
Stand on not chasing after money for it is written, “ Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me: Lest I be full, and deny thee, and say, Who is the LORD? or lest I be poor, and steal, and take the name of my God in vain.” Proverbs 30:8-9
Stand on not having sex out wedlock for it is write, “ Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.” Hebrew 13:4
Stand on not accepting homosexuality and lesbian life styles for it is written, “If a man also lie with mankind, as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.” Leviticus 20:13
Stand on not trying to fit into this world thinking it will make you somebody for it is written, “Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knows your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is an abomination in the sight of God.” Luke 16:15
I say not these things to say whether I know your faith for it is written, “Not for that we have dominion over your faith, but are helpers of your joy: for by faith ye stand.” 2nd Corinthians 1:24
The Apostle Paul wrote to us saying, “ Only let your conversation be as it becomes the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that you stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel.” Philippians 1:27
And again, “ Always laboring fervently for you in prayers, that you may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.” Colossians 4:12
And again, “Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.” 2nd Thessalonians 2:15
And finally, “For now we live, if ye stand fast in the Lord.” 1st Thessalonians 3:8
I pray brothers and sister that we should live, so I pray that you learn to stand.
